La Romantica

La Romantica Beds are a growing bed company producing high quality beds and mattresses at the right price.

The Florence mattress is 10" deep comprising of a medium to firm 6" deep 1000 pocket sprung layer (in a 5' king size mattress). This is then topped with a  2"  of Talalay Latex foam for ultimate support (the other inch is made up from other materials that protect the foam from the springs). This is then covered in a luxuy knitted cover or optional Coolmax or climasmart fabric.

What is Coolmax?

Coolmax takes perspiration and excess heat away from the body creating a cool, dry comfort zone. Coolmax has excellent heat regulating capacity which is ideal for mattresses. Coolmax has unique fast drying properties provern in professional sportswear. Coolmax fibres are not treated with chemicals, the moisture regulating properties are built in and are not washed away over time. Coolmax is proven in industry tests to perform considerably better than other fabrics.
 

What is Climasmart?

 

Climasmart works in much the same way as Coolmax and is designed to maintain an even temperature all year round to keep you cool in summer and warm in winter.This optional cover is also Hypoallergenic.
 
 
What is Talalay Latex Foam Rubber?
 
 Talalay Latex foam has a cooler feel than memory foam, due to the vertical holes through the foam, many people claim that latex is far cooler than memory foam.
 
Talalay Latex foam is a natural product that is made from the sap of plants, this is an excellent alternative to similar products out there such as memory foam. .
